Community partner and longtime corporate supporter of St. Stephen’s Community House, AkzoNobel recently celebrated their 130th birthday. As part of the celebration, AkzoNobel awarded a special community grant to St. Stephen’s Community House Food and Nutrition Center in the amount of $10,000.
“Our Columbus team is proud of its longstanding commitments to the local community. Throughout its history, the site has supported various non-profit and community organizations serving underprivileged populations in Columbus,” AkzoNobel stated in a release.

St. Stephen’s Community House also welcomed Theirry Vanlacker, Global CEO of AkzoNobel to the agency with a full tour and discussion with St. Stephen’s employees and volunteers.
“This will directly help the 900 families we serve each month in our Food and Nutrition Center, providing them with healthy choices in a place where they can receive food with dignity. It’s because of partners like AkzoNobel that we are able to continue to strengthen families and empower our community,” St. Stephen’s Community House CEO, Marilyn Mehaffie said.
