CEO Marilyn Mehaffie receives the Community Service Award at the 2019 George Meany Awards Banquet

On March 21, St. Stephen’s Community House CEO, Marilyn Mehaffie was the recipient of the Community Service Award at the 2019 George Meany Awards Banquet. The Central Ohio Labor Council, AFL-CIO recognizes those with significant contributions in community service in several areas. Other award winners included:

Marilyn mentioned in her speech that the Central Ohio Labor Council AFL-CIO and St. Stephen’s Community House have a special bond and a long history of serving the people in Linden and because of this partnership, residents of Linden and beyond haven’t had to worry about food shortages over the holiday season.
