St. Stephen’s Community House and the Central Ohio Labor Council AFL-CIO will collaborate again this year for the 2018 Annual Christmas Cares/Unions Share Program – a program that began in 1954 as the Christmas Basket Program.
From Tuesday, December 11th – Wednesday, December 19th, volunteers will be needed at St. Stephen’s Community House to ensure that more than 3,000 individuals and families can enjoy the holiday season. Volunteers will sort, bag, box, and distribute items so that individuals and families can receive dairy products, canned goods, boxed goods, poultry, and baked goods.
We give thanks to all who sign up and we appreciate their commitment to ensuring that St. Stephen’s continues to provide for our families, especially during this season of giving.
We kindly ask before signing up please take a moment to fill out our volunteer form. You can find it at the top of this page by clicking on VOLUNTEER.
Online registration is available now through December 7th.
So that we can offer this opportunity to serve as many volunteers as possible, we ask that each individual or group only sign up for one-time slot. Most time slots vary from 1 1/2 -3 hours.
We understand that events may occur that you have no control over, so if you cannot fulfill your time commitment, please remember to remove your name from the sign-up on or prior to December 7th. If after December 7th, please contact Aja at ahoupe@saintstephensch.org.
*PLEASE NOTE: Children must be at least 11 years of age to volunteer in a slot with a parent/guardian. Youth must be 14 years of age or older to occupy their own slot*
