Three $5,000 Bonus Grants Announced
The Voices of Health team announced (3) additional prizes in the contest, which was made possible through the generosity of Aetna’s corporate leaders. Regardless of our place in the contest; we still have a chance to win a prize – a $5,000 grant!
How we win the bonus grant:
- Get the most votes in the last 7 days of the contest – that’s between 12:00 AM EST on October 7th and 11:59 PM EST on October 13th .
How does Aetna determine the winner?
- They will analyze all votes to determine which organizations got the most votes in the last 7 days of the contest.
- They will only count votes received during that 7-day period.
- Regardless of our current standing in the contest, we will have the same opportunity to win the $5,000 grant as every other participant. Everyone has a clean slate and another chance to win since Aetna is only counting the last seven days.
Can we win the bonus grant if we win the grand prize?
- No, grand prize winners are not eligible for the $5,000 bonus round grant.
What if our organization is in last place?
- We can still win the bonus grant if we are in last place- Aetna will only count the votes received in the last 7 days of the contest to determine the bonus grant winners. Regardless of our position in the contest, we can win with a final push!
How many bonus grants are there?
- There will be three winners of the $5,000 bonus grant (across all 20 regions) in the contest and they will be announced in conjunction with the grand prize winners on October 18th.
