Youth Services
STEAM After-School Program
Held at two of Linden’s STEM feeder elementary schools, the program provides high-quality education to students in grades K-6, as well as daily meals, homework assistance, and developmental activities. The program operates September through May, and welcomes volunteers for tutoring. All volunteers in this program must pass a background check and attend an in-service orientation.
Summer STEAM Camp
Summer STEAM Camp is a free eight-week summer camp for students entering first-eighth grades. The STEAM-focused program is divided into two-week units centered on science, technology, engineering, and math aligned with Common Core standards. The program is open to income-eligible families in Franklin County.
Achieve More and Prosper (A.M.P.)
In partnership with Franklin County Department of Job and Family Services, The Achieve More & Prosper Program (formally known as Summer Youth Employment Program) provides employment and training services to eligible, low-income individuals based on a comprehensive assessment of employment and training needs, as well as a basic skills assessment. Our A.M.P. coaches create personalized success plans for each student and provides a multitude of resources for enrolled students.
